This is a great question! Thank you for asking!

I first watched Kuroshitsuji the Musical 2 before I had even watched the anime thoroughly/ read the manga. It was Eric’s character that drew me to Black Butler in the first place. The funny thing was that I was actually told before hand that I was most like him. To this, I responded, “What, the guy with the stupid hair?” Ironic that I now want it for my own.

I identify intensely with Eric Slingby. I’ve been told that I come across as “unapproachable”, but upon further inspection, that I would do quietly anything to protect the people I love. Namely, my best friend and lover (who is, funny enough, an Alan rper and much like him). If placed in the same position (but with my love in Alan’s position), I am sure that I would behave in the same manner. No matter the cost.

I admire him. And (unpopular opinion alert) find him to be the most fascinating character within all of Black Butler. His sense of humor, charm, and loyalty ring true to my own personality. So, basically, mun decided to rp Eric because mun sees a bit of hirself in him. If that makes sense.

What a vain answer, heh.
