For Eric, a night’s slumber was nearing impossible since his dear friend’s heart had been ensnared by the dreaded thorns. Whenever he tucked himself beneath his quilts and closed his eyes, he was tormented with nightmares: visions of Alan’s feeble heart – sheared into ribbons and slick with fresh blood – were fixed quite permanently in the back of his mind. It influenced his every action lately.
Especially in light of his “research”.
Eric merely smiled at him, and replied without missing a beat, “Work has been kickin’ m’ erse.” But his eyes told a much darker truth.
(( So, I sketched a thing. It’s still pretty rough, but I’m somewhat happy with it. =w= It was an old piece I started a while ago, but scrapped. I kicked the old sketch and started from scratch. They also originally were wearing glasses, but I decided it looked a bit more intimate without them.

Shinotoge’s Alan is kind of the best. =w=b I love writing with her! It’s a great way to get my mind off of all the sucky stuff happening in my life and focus on the sucky stuff happening in Eric and Alan’s lives, haha.
No really. Her writing has moved me both to laughter and tears. I think my dash would be just a little lonely without her. I hope we can become great friends!
